Daryl has a strong history in sport and believes whole-heartedly that sport gave him the foundation and skills to welcome challenge and the drive and desire to succeed through hard work, sweat and perseverance. Because of his invaluable experience in sport as a young person, Daryl strives to help others by supporting those in their ambitious efforts to persevere and further themselves as individuals.
Daryl-Evans Racing
Daryl-Evans Mechanical sponsors a local group of racers that is dedicated to promoting cycling for men, women and youth in BC.
With its focus on excellence in cycling, Daryl-Evans Racing is a locally-run Cycling BC registered trade team that uses organized team training and racing tactics to advance all team members to the next level of competition in their respective categories.
While the team’s race experience ranges from development to semi-pro, the group works together to continually develop youth and recreational riders who aspire to enter the racing community and to promote the South Surrey Bike Park.

White Rock United Football Club
White Rock United Football Club (WRUFC) is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing its members and their families with an enjoyable and positive environment in which to play soccer. As an elite sponsor, Daryl-Evans supports this Club in a variety of ways, from covering equipment, field costs and team travel, to little league coaching and supporting the team’s effort to send equipment and uniforms to a South American Village where these items are desperately needed. Our sponsored team plays in the well established Fraser Valley Soccer League.
Canadian Red Cross
The Canadian Red Cross is the leading humanitarian organization through which people voluntarily demonstrate their caring for others in need. Their mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity in Canada and around the world.
Daryl Evans Mechanical Services is proud to be involved in giving back to the community as a regular supporter of charities such as the Family Support Program which provides a home-cooked buffet dinner for families with children in extended care at BC Children’s Hospital three times a year. This provides a very rare opportunity for many of these families to eat together as a family outside their child’s hospital room.
Naramata Garden Society
Daryl-Evans is proud to sponsor the Naramata Community Garden Society.
The initiative, proposed by the Naramata Elementary School, reflects the growing impetus of school curriculums to introduce agricultural and environmental awareness to the classroom. The Garden is designed to provide students with an experiential learning environment, and as such, four of the garden plots are reserved for the school’s use. The Naramata Community Garden Society provides space for residents to garden together - to create a shared vision, to work collaboratively, and to cultivate a place for individuals, families and friends to learn about and to experience the rewards of gardening – values shared by Daryl-Evans.
Penticton is Hockey
Daryl-Evans is a proud sponsor of the Penticton Vees BCHL Junior A Hockey Team. The Penticton Vees are proud members of the BCHL, comprised of top amateur talent in British Columbia. The City of Penticton is known for its strong hockey tradition and the Vees’ storied history as champions. The Vees are a very important part of the Penticton community.
